සලභ යනු, සංස්කෘත භාෂාවෙන් පළගැටියාය. සලභාසනයේ යෙදී සිටින විට පාදය උස්සාගත් පළගැටියාගේ ස්වරූපය දිස්වේ. භුජංග උාසනයෙන් ශරීරයේ ඉහළ කොටසක්ද සලභාසනයෙන් ශරීරයේ පසු කොටස්ද ක්‍රියාත්මක වේ. භුජාංග උාසනයට පසු සලභාසනයේ යෙදිය යුතු අතර මෙම ආසනයේදී අර්ධ හා පූර්ණ වශයෙන් සලභාසනය පුරුදු පුහුණු විය යුතුය.

මෙය රෝග චිකිත්සක වටිනාකමක් ඇති ආසනයකි. වකුගඩු ආශි්‍රත රෝගයන්ට සලභාසන දිව ඔසුවකි. යහපත් රුධිර සැපයුමක් වකුගඩුවලට ලැබීම සලභාසනයෙන් සිදුවේ. කොඳුඇට පෙළ නිරෝගීතාවය ඇති කරවයි. වකුගඩු, අක්මාව, අග්න්‍යාශය, පිත්තාශය, මුත්‍රාශය, පිළාව ඇතුළු උදරය ආශ්‍රිත ඉන්ද්‍රියයන් ක්‍රියාකාරී වේ. දෙනෙත්වල ප්‍රාණවත් බව ඇතිකරයි. මුහුණ, පපුව, ගෙල, උරහිස් ආදී කොටස්වලට ව්‍යායාමයක් ලැබේ. ශරීරයේ පෙනුම දැකුම්කලු  කරයි.

දැන් අප බලමු අර්ධ සලභාසනයට සුදානම් විය යුතු ආකාරය

පයිවර

පළමුවෙන්ම මුනින් අතට බිම වැතිරෙන්න. නිකට පොළවේ තබාගන්න. දෙඇස් ඉදිරියට යොමු කරන්න. දෙඅත් ඇගට දෙපස සෘජුව තබාගන්න. පාද දෙක එකිනෙකට ලංව තිබිය යුතුය. කිහිපවරක් ගැඹුරින් ආශ්වාස ප්‍රශ්වාස කරන්න. ගැඹුරු ශ්වසනයේදී පෙණහලු තුලට ඇතුළු වු වාතය එම කොටස් පිරී සිරුර මඳක් ඉහළට එසවීමත් ප්‍රශ්වාසයත් සමග සිරුර පහතට යාමත් එම ආශ්වාසයේ රිද්මයයි. දැන් ඔබ ආසනයේ යෙදීමට සුදානම්ය.

හොඳින් ආශ්වාස කරමින් එම වාතය පෙණහලු  තුළ රඳවා තබාගනිමින් දැත් දෙක පොළොවට තදකර වම් පාදය සෙමෙන් ඉහළට ඔසවන්න. තප්පර 7-8 ක් පමණ ඉහළ රඳවා සිට ප්‍රශ්වාසයත් සමග එම පාදය සෙමෙන් පහළට ගෙන එන්න. ශරීරය සෘජුව තබාගත යුතු අතර, ඒ මේ අතට ශරීරය පැද්දෙන්නට ඉඩ නොදෙන්න.

කයට විවේකය ලබාදෙමින් වම් පාදය 3 වරක් බැගින් ඉහළටද, දකුණු පාදය 3 වරක් බැගින් ඉහළටද ගෙනයන්න. මෙවිට පාද දෙකට 6 වරක් බැගින් ව්‍යායාම ලැබේ. ආසනයෙන් මිදෙන සෑම විටම විවේකාසනයට පැමිණ විවේක ගන්න. පළමු ඉරියව්වෙන් විනාඩි 1/2 ක කාලකින් පසුව පූර්ණ සලභාසනයේ යෙදෙන්න.

දැන් අප බලමු පූර්ණ සලභාසනයට සුදානම් විය යුතු ආකාරය

අර්ධ සලභාසනයෙන් පසුව පූර්ණ සලභාසනය පුරුදු විය යුතුය. එකවර පූර්ණ කිරීම සුදුසු නොවේ. ආසනවලදී හුස්ම රඳවා තබාගත යුත්තේ ශරීරයට කිසිදු අපහසුවක් නොදැනෙන පරිදිය.

එසේ අපහසුතාවයක් ඇතිවුවහොත් වහා ආසනයෙන් මිදී කයට විවේක දෙන්න. මුලින් යම් යම් සු`ඵ අපහසුතාවයන් ඇති වුවාට එය ම`ගහැරී යනු ඇත. යෝග පුහුණුවිය යුත්තේ ඉතා සැහැල්වෙලුනි. කය දරදඬු  කිරීම කිසිසේත් සුදුසු නොවේ.

පියවර

මුලින්ම සිටි ඉරියව්වට එන්න. ඔබේ දැත් උදරය යට තබාගන්න. උදරය යට තබාගැනීමේදී අත්වල ඇගිලි එකට බැද මිටියක් මෙන් තබාගන්න. පාද දෙක ලංකර තිබිය යුතුය.

දැත දෙක පොළොවට තදකරමින් නිකට පොළොවේ තබා ගැඹුරු ආශ්වාසයක් සමග පාද දෙක සෙමෙන් ඉහළට ඔසවන්න. තත්පර 7-8 ක් ඉහළ රඳවා තබාගෙන ප්‍රශ්වාසයත් සම`ග පාද දෙක පහළට ගෙනඑන්න. 3-4 වරක් පමණ එසේ කිරීම ප්‍රමාණවත් වේ.

අර්ධ සලභාසනයේ මෙන්ම පූර්ණ සලභාසනයේදී පාදවල දණහිස් නොනැමි තබාගත යුතුය.දණහිස් නැමීම වැරදි වන නමුත් පාද ඉහළටම එසවීමේදී මදක් නැමේ. එහෙත් පූර්ණ නැමීමක් නොවේ. දැත් දෙක උදරයට තබාගැනීමේදී සමහර අයකුට එම පාද ඉහළට එසවීමේදී විශාල පහසුවක් වේ.

ප්‍රථිපල,

කොඳු ඇට පෙළේ නම්‍යතාවය වැඩි කරන අතර කොඳු ඇට පෙළේ ස්නායු නාද කරයි.

අධික මේදය අඩු කිරීමට සහ උදර මාංශ පේෂී තද කිරීමට මෙම ආසනය ප්‍රයෝජනවත් වේ.
